Good experience. Our 13 year old system was starting to freeze up/struggle- so I called 72 Degrees on a Sunday. They offered to come out off-hours, but explained that there likely wasn’t much they could do with an older R-22 unit and I’d be better off to wait and avoid a service call fee. It was still cooling somewhat, so I just had them stop by the next day.
On Monday, we discussed a few options and trade offs, got a straightforward (and reasonable) quote, – and by Wednesday afternoon I had a new system humming along. Full disclosure- I did not shop price; I had a ballpark in mind and his quote was already around the lower end of the range I expected. There may be cheaper out there (for comparable equipment), but I doubt it would be by much.
No one likes to have to drop $$$ on HVAC equipment, but if you find that you must, I’d recommend 72 Degrees. They were prompt, communicative, and did exactly what they said they’d do at what I felt was a fair price.
