Following are a couple of Quick & Easy Tips that will help you trouble shoot any issues you might currently be having with your heating system:

Check the Batteries in the Thermostat: Many of the digital thermostats use batteries. They can be accessed from the back of the thermostat.
Check the Temperature Setting on the Thermostat: Make sure the temperature setting higher than the room temperature. Also make sure the thermostat is turned to the on position and is turned to the heating mode.
Check Your Replacement Filters: Make sure your replacement filters are clean to avoid a restriction to the air return. Recommendation: Replace disposable filters every time you pay your power bill.
Check Circuit Breakers: Look in your home panel box to see that there are no “tripped” circuit breakers. If they look to be “tripped” move them to the off position and then back to the on position. Note: In most cases a “tripped” breaker is sign that there is a problem. A full system examination is necessary to check for safety related problems.
